Pet odors get into the furniture, carpets, bedding and can even cling to walls and ceilings. So the entire area where a pet lives is normally permeated with odors.Pet odors inside vehicles can be even stronger because of the smaller, enclosed space.

+How to Treat Pet Odors+
Solution: For thorough pet odor removal, close off the area to be treated and place an OdorFree unit in the area. Remove all pets and vacate the space while the ozone generator runs for several hours (or longer depending on the severity of the odors). As the O3 circulates throughout the facility, it will oxidize pet odors wherever it contacts them. Because O3 is a very active molecule, it will follow the same path that the animal odors took, removing odors clinging to carpets, cabinets, furniture, and upholstery and even inside air conditioning ducts. Note: In small spaces it is recommended that one window be left open about 3 inches to provide a constant source of fresh oxygen to the unit.
Allow at least two hours for the O3 to dissipate before allowing owners and pets to re-occupy the space. If pet odor has not been completely eliminated, repeat the ozone pet odor removal treatment again. As long as pets share the space, the treatment may need to be repeated again from time to time.
