OdorFree machines produce ozone (O3) that is sent into the room, attacking odors at their source and eliminating them completely. Ozone dissipates in about an hour leaving only a fresh smelling room.
What is Ozone?
Outdoors, odors are eliminated using both UV light and O3. Indoors, most places that generate odors receive very little UV light or O3. The OdorFree creates O3, or ozone, in a special process that utilizes an electrical current. Ozone works by breaking down odors and other pollutants at their source.
Thunderstorms create ozone or O3 and also from sunlight striking the earth’s atmosphere. As an example, we’ve all taken a walk after a thunderstorm and experienced the fresh smell in the air. That's O3, or ozone, at work.
Normal oxygen (O2) is converted to O3, which is commonly called ozone. It reverts back to O2 in about an hour if the O3 is unused. This leaves the air fresh because the source of the odor has been permanently removed. And there are no artificial odors so the space becomes free of odors. Simple Setup
Plug in and select medium to high on the Ozone Output dial. Turn the Timer dial to set treatment time. Vacate the area while the odors are being oxidized. Return to an outdoor fresh environment.

Note: Each unit has a 60 minute or 12 hour adjustable timer with Hold setting. Using the Hold feature allows the ozone generator to run indefinitely for the strongest odors.
The durable ceramic plates slide into special slots located on the back. They may need to be removed and cleaned every three or four months if the unit is used on a regular basis. This takes about 5 minutes.
