Eliminate odors, for good.
Our ozone generator oxidizes away and permanently removes odors in your space. No more simply “covering up” bad smells.

The OdorFree will remove your odors at the source - not mask them.
The OdorFree produces ozone (O3) that fills the space, and goes to the source of the odors, eliminating them completely.
Simply close off the area to be treated and vacate the space. With the turn of a dial, it attacks odors at their source. Return to the space after treatment and enjoy fresh clean air.
Ozone is for permanent odor removal - not an air purifier or deodorizer!
Ozone shock treatment is very different and the most powerful solution for complete odor elimination. Air purifiers and deodorizers have little impact on odor removal. The OdorFree will oxidize unwanted odors for good!

Learn about the difference
Most air purifiers simply trap solid particles like dust and pollen onto a membrane as they are drawn into the filter. They do not have a significant impact on odors,
but may trap a very small amount of gases.
Odor molecules are gases that can pass right through most filters with little or no impact on the odor itself and the source of the smell.
OdorFree ozone generators send out O3 (ozone) into the treatment area to oxidize gases in the air and also attack odors at their source.
Deodorizers use fragrances as part of a chemical formulation to overpower odors and cover them up. The chemicals used in deodorizers can also attach to surfaces
and continue to off-gas. Some people find these fumes unpleasant, while those who are highly sensitive may have a reaction.
The OdorFree is designed to oxidize odors at their source. It usually dissipates in 2 hours, leaving the air smelling fresh and clean. In fact, it will even
eliminate the heavy smell that can linger from a deodorizer.
The OdorFree destroys the source of indoor odors.
All odor molecules migrate from a specific source and these gases will fill the air. Most indoor odors originate inside your space unless it comes from
something like wildfires or industrial pollution.
For example, musty odors can develop in moist areas of the home and then migrate from there. Pets can leave their odors on places like furniture and floors
from body contact or accidents. Smoking tobacco sends out vapors that settle onto surfaces, coating them with a smelly chemical residue that can emit tobacco odors
indefinitely, even after smoking has ended in the space.
The OdorFree fills every cubic inch in the space with ozone which oxidizes the odors in the air. Next, it attacks and breaks apart the odor causing molecules at
their source.
Odors need to be eliminated, not just temporarily in the air, but permanently removed at their source!

An ozone generator eliminates odors by producing ozone (O₃), a highly reactive form of oxygen. The ozone fills every cubic inch of the space, breaking apart odor-causing molecules by oxidizing them in the air or at their source. Ozone follows the same path that odors take, including vents and other hard-to-reach spaces, eliminating them on contact. Once the treatment is complete, the ozone reverts to oxygen (O₂), leaving the area smelling fresh and clean. See a quick video of Ozone in Action
Ozone generators should only be used while the space is not occupied. Ozone can cause eye and respiratory irritation, especially in concentrated quantities. Ozone is a very active molecule that can migrate throughout a building, even when doors are closed with the ozone generator running. So vacate people and pets from the entire space once it is turned on and then return after completion. Allow at least 2 hours after treatment for the ozone to dissipate before re-occupying the space. Windows or doors may be opened to speed up the process. Those with respiratory issues like asthma and COPD should consult their physician before use.
Each odor situation is unique so suggested treatment times are provided on a chart in our Quick Start Guide, depending on the size of space and severity of odors. The OdorFree has a built-in timer to select how long to run the machine. Generally, treatments can range from one to several hours and the output dial is set to high. Here are a few pointers to keep in mind:
- Smoke Odor
- Pet Odor
- Car Odor
- Apartments/Houses
- Boats/Cruise Ships
- Schools/Offices
For most applications, one or two treatments will eliminate your odor completely. However, in the case of some deeply entrenched odors additional treatments may be necessary. The ozone molecule must directly contact the source of the odor in order to completely eliminate it. For example, ozone cannot penetrate deeply into materials so periodic treatments may be needed. Our odor experts are always here to answer questions, so feel free to contact us.
Ozone generators are effective at removing a wide range of odors, including those from tobacco smoke, food and beverages, pets, musty smells, chemicals, and remodeling materials. When ozone contacts these areas it oxidizes unpleasant smells both in the air and on surfaces. Clickhere to view all odor applications
After extended use, an invisible film can build up on the ceramic plates reducing output. Some environments will cause ozone output to be reduced in a shorter time but a good rule of thumb is every 3 months of continued use. First, remove the filter and pull the ceramic plates out of the rear of the unit like a CD. Use a stiff brush to scrub the screen on the ceramic plates with a grease-cutting detergent or chlorine. Rinse thoroughly with hot water, dry and slide the plates back in.
