People love their pets but all too often they find themselves living with the odors they generate in homes, offices as well as in cars and RVs.

 

Pet odors get into the furniture, carpets, bedding and can even cling to walls and ceilings. So the entire area where a pet lives is normally permeated with odors.Pet odors inside vehicles can be even stronger because of the smaller, enclosed space.

And these odors are much more noticeable by guests who are not pet owners.Treating the space with ozone (O3) is very effective in pet odor removal because it attacks these odors at their source. Commercial rental companies, veterinary offices, homes, apartments, and even vehicles can all utilize ozone as a permanent pet odor eliminator.

Ozone even works for the hardest odor removal of all: pet urine odor removal (Note: If urine has soaked deeply into the carpet padding, hardwood floors, and/or concrete, professional remediation may be required. Ozone is a good pet odor remover and will remove most pet odors, but cannot penetrate some materials).

How to Treat Pet Odors

Solution: For thorough pet odor removal, close off the area to be treated and place an OdorFree unit in the area. Remove all pets and vacate the space while the ozone generator runs for several hours (or longer depending on the severity of the odors). As the O3 circulates throughout the facility, it will oxidize pet odors wherever it contacts them. Because O3 is a very active molecule, it will follow the same path that the animal odors took, removing odors clinging to carpets, cabinets, furniture, and upholstery and even inside air conditioning ducts. Note: In small spaces it is recommended that one window be left open about 3 inches to provide a constant source of fresh oxygen to the unit.

Allow at least two hours for the O3 to dissipate before allowing owners and pets to re-occupy the space. If pet odor has not been completely eliminated, repeat the ozone pet odor removal treatment again. As long as pets share the space, the treatment may need to be repeated again from time to time.

Unlike an Air Purifier or Deodorizer
